Starting shooting

We are going to start shooting our production when we get back to school, we have a deadline of the 28th of January. So We NEED to sart filming as soon as possible.

Presentation

On the 10th December our group presented our Pre-production things to our teacher. We got good feedback. The only thing that we can improve on is the risk assessment, that is to add more things to it.

Extra actors

Because there are more characters in our opening scene then there are in our group, we have thought about hiring people from an agency, but unfortunately we dont have the time, and more than likely wont have enough money. So instead we will ask some of our friends to be the extras in our opening scene.

Pre-planning update

Laura has made a very good script which i think works well for a gangster type film.
Though George hasn't finished the shooting script yet becuase he needs to use the storyboard but me and Shaun haven't completed it yet.

Pre-production planning

Our group have been doing pre-production planning over the last couple of days and will continue to do so over the following weeks.
We have split the jobs ups between us so that we all do something to help out.

Storyboarding is being done by me and Shaun.
The shooting script is being done by George.
The script/stage directions is being written by Laura

Main idea

Today, in our first two lessons of Media Studies, we have been told to get in our groups and continue to plan for our main idea. We have also been given a sheet for this that we should fill in thoroughly.

Juno

For a practise piece, our group has been asked to re-create the opening for Juno, or any other film of our choice. Because we couldn't think of another film we could do, we decided to settle with Juno.

We have been asked to do this so we can get used to planning, story boarding, using the camera and editing the footage.
